Where there's a will, there's a way!!! All Clinics need a wheel chair!
This is a map of all the villages that this clinic services.
The nurse showed us the one hospital ward, used mainly for maternity patients.
This new maternity ward was begun a couple years ago but the government ran out of money. Only $10,000 is needed to complete the building. As our team was a group of women ministering to women, our hearts were drawn to this project and we would love to find a way to raise money to complete this maternity ward for the women in this area.
wow. the wheel chair is ingenious. i will show this to my kids.
ReplyDeleteReally makes you grateful for what you have, doesn't it...
ReplyDeleteHow can we help?
ReplyDeleteAwesome pictures and I can see how important it would be to finish their project. I can't even imagine having a baby on those beds or sleeping on them. I must say we are so spoiled and I would love to help as much as I can.
ReplyDeleteThe Wheel Chair picture is very inventive.
Blessings on your ministry; you are doing a great work.
It is a wonderful project, and I'm happy to read about it on your blog!
ReplyDeleteLove the wheel chair idea...have several things such as that in the two countries we served in,especially Papua New Guinea. Amazing how created one can be when there is a need.
ReplyDeleteMy biggest struggle when we return to the US was the amount of stuff there is...for any need. We could fill container after container from the stores and they would still have plenty to sell. I too pray God's blessings on your ministry...thanks for making us aware of the need.
God bless your team as you work among the poor. It's amazing how people invent when in time of need. Sometimes in poor places, (at least, in some countries I know) it's not that money has run out, but corruption is so prevalent that it affects the very poorest in the community.
